This year we started a new Christmas tradition. We decided that the children only needed 3 gifts from us. Our thinking was that Baby Jesus got 3 gifts and so let's remember that is what this holiday is all about...Jesus' birth not getting gifts!
On Christmas morning we open all the presents except for one "big" gift for each of the children. The kids each took turns opening them. There was one for each Shad, Shari and Shilo and then there was a group present from Grandpa Val, Grandma Cathe and Nana. Total Excitement! (Sorry the videos are kinda dark and hard to see. The sound is the most important part, just hear the excitement!)
Shad is calm and cool while uncovering the "big" gift from mom and dad.
Now he had his own wheels, so if you need a ride you know who to call!
Shari just knew what was in this surprise gift bag!
But Shilo, seeing that everyone else had gotten something "big" was just about ready to "give up on Christmas". It is hard to hear but those are her own words.
Now remember Shilo had "given up on Christmas"!
WOW! The kiddos got a Wii from Grandpa Val, Grandma Cathe and Nana! As you can tell from the video the kids were pretty excited! You might need to turn down the volume on your computer.
Cute kids. Now we can all play wii together. we are excited for you guys. Those kids seem like they got everything they wanted. we need Shilo's number so we can text her now. lol.
